The Full Jupiter 8 Shell Kit, comprising of the following:

Please note VERY IMPORTANT, not all Jupiter 8’s are the same. There have been many revisions and it’s not clear by serial number only. There are 4 differing shells we know of so please guide us to which you have, thank you.

There is a lot included here, namely :

1. Main shell, with, or without MIDI MOD ( same price either way ). This will have the spot welded internal support bars for the main brace, x2 button strength supports, and the x3 hanger suspended supports. The shell will be lightly powder coated and have all artwork applied by silkscreening, as an accurate reproduction of the original case. Tolerances are up to, but mostly less than 0.2mm and the quality is arguably better than original. If MIDI mod is chosen, the artwork will support the new holes as if ‘ factory ‘ provided. The MIDI mod is a very tight squeeze for the din sockets and wires to them. A MIDI kit will not fit there and should be located as recommended by the supplier of the MIDI kit ). Finally the supporting hinges are spot welded in place. Just to get everything to line up is a challenge in itself, but it’s done, awaiting 1st model of production.

2. Base unit, complete with venting and folds. This too will be lightly powder coated and is an accurate reproduction of the original base. Tolerances are up to, but mostly less than 0.2mm and the quality is arguably better than original.

3. Control panel area complete with the spot welded internal support bars x2. The shell will be lightly powder coated and have all artwork applied by silkscreening, as an accurate reproduction of the original case. Tolerances are up to, but mostly less than 0.2mm and the quality is arguably better than original.

4. Main Structural Bar internal. This separate support unit had no coating originally, but will be painted a silver grey colour, similar to the TB-303 case. Tolerances are up to, but mostly less than 0.2mm and the quality is arguably better than original.

5. Twin screen covers - see screen cover separate listing for full detail.

6. End cheeks lightly brushed and anodised - see separate listing for full detail. NEW Machine Screws FREE of charge included also. - Not 100% accurate but close !

7. Front Bar that fits under Keybed - This too will be lightly powder coated and is an accurate reproduction of the original bar. Tolerances are up to, but mostly less than 0.2mm and the quality is arguably better than original.

8. End Block, right of keys. This will be lightly powder coated and is an accurate reproduction of the original. Tolerances are up to, but mostly less than 0.2mm and the quality is arguably better than original.

9. FREE Save a Jupiter 8 T-Shirt with the words / logo - “ If I said you had a Synthful Body, would you hold it against me ? “

This has been a massive project and sadly does not have the luxury of 1,000 unit production to get costs lower. It is roughly the price that a reasonably rough Jupiter 8 would cost in Restoration terms but now you keep the original and put on display ( we are making those soon too, so would love a Wishlist / feedback from you ).. This will totally transform your Jupiter 8 and is an alternative to restoration which we still do.

All artwork is meticulously recreated and several skins are made to lay over as stencils to ensure accuracy of original. Any original factory flaws will be tastefully corrected ( very minor things ). There is different artwork on different Jupiter 8’s so we ensure it’s your style that you get. This is for Original but a fully custom colour scheme with additionally provided vector art is possible to do also, please enquire.

LARGE batch orders of 10 units would reduce prices by around 15% if you have a Facebook Group that wants to batch order. We can take each order up to the 10 if informed of names prior to ordering and credit back the savings. If more than 10, please enquire first. Thank you

Initial purchase deposit £650

The week the Production is to start you will be invoiced a further £1,000,

Finally, once produced, prior to shipping, the balance plus shipping is invoiced to you with any initial shipping charge deducted from that.

Production will be Aprox 8 weeks from point of order, please allow extra time if custom.
